Me talking to other people’s children:

Child:  This is a library

Me:  No, it’s a bookstore

Child:  No, it’s a library

Me:  No, it’s a bookstore

Child:  What’s the difference?

Me:  A library is a socialist system.  A bookstore is a capitalist system.

Child:  What’s does that mean?

Me:  A bookstore attempts to meet the needs of everyone.  A library meets the needs of a small fraction of people while everyone else has to get by with what’s leftover.
